Beside the Water……

Walking beside these waters was cooling.
Indeed very early morning was a rather refreshing start to the day…. It didn’t last. By eight o’clock when Maisie and I got back to our driveway the day was already hot. Over 28C in the porch in the shade. The temperature climbed to over 32C by late this afternoon. I melted, despite keeping all curtains closed. In the end I turned on the cooling function in the heat pump. The animals were most appreciative.
