I tend to crochet items that can be made up from smaller squares. This used to be practical because my friend and I spent workday lunch times in coffee shops and small projects were easy.
This was also the case working at home on Zoom calls (camera off) where I could crochet and listen.
These days having broken both wrists small projects are easier to support as I work.
 
I think I started this blanket in 2021 making squares in between other projects with no real goal until my friend Julie said it would look great in her spare room. 
 
So, 210 squares and a puff stitch border later here it is.
 
Top picture was September on my bed & bottom picture is today on her bed.
 
Because I wasn’t Blipping in 2023 the extra is another squares project 325 squares, 50 stars and a ruffle border.  It’s on Niki’s bed in the USA.
