Panettone

Love it, but being a Coeliac it doesn’t like me so glad to discover when I opened the beautiful tin that …….  it was empty!
 
We’ve had a very quiet day today.  Small walks for an old dog, a nice chat with the very nice neighbours in their lovely house.  K & T have been so kind in helping us out with any problems and worries we’ve had whilst doing this house/dog sitting lark, luckily nothing serious, except for the loss of power for nearly 3 days which was a bit of a challenge.  

H is back tomorrow, late evening, she will be so pleased to see her beloved Tilly dog in good health and see her house is in one piece! After the usual welcome home greetings etc we are going to have to sit H down and divulge yet more bad news.  Late last night a friend of her late Partner rang.  We told him that H was away and we were the house sitters but he told us of the sudden death of another close friend that day.  Poor H, yet another shock for her to cope with.  Glad we will be staying another night to help her digest this further great sadness.

For blip purposes it's  another sad Saturday I'm afraid.
