Mummy hazelh's Christmas cards
Today I was Mummy hazelh's secretary (and chamber maid, cook, lady's maid, and pharmacist...) I addressed her Christmas cards for her to sign, then composed letters to slip into the envelopes. There is a tricky aspect to this task because my mother is known by two different names to her friends. For each card we had to stop and try and remember the name that would be familiar to the recipient(s).
We residents of Edinburgh are very happy to see our city featured on the second class stamps this year with an image of St Mary's Cathedral (blipped).
The big news of the day is that I took some proper exercise. My running mileage is slowly extending...
Exercise today: 9.2 mile run.
