False spring

I was doing a little trimming of the Purple Heart plant that got frosted when I happened to catch a spot of yellow. The forsythia in the backyard has a limb that has yellow flowers popping out. Next to it is the bridal wreath plant with a few blooms on it.

Plants in the south get so confused when we have winter and spring in the same month.

There are green shoots coming up in the daffodil and snowdrop bed.

I want winter to hang around. I love cold sunny days.
