Mud

We met around 1.00 for a walk before a late lunch.   It was No.2's birthday on Thursday and he was pleased with his gifts and thoughtful card from James (lots of words inside, the same way Aimee used to write cards, and he was touched with the words).

We have done this walk a few times before so OH knew the way and we both remembered the smelly farm!  How can some people live like this?  No pictures of the farm house or other outbuildings but suffice to say - it was gross!!  Very muddy underfoot everywhere and H didn't really have the right boots and ended up with very wet socks!  I was very happy and dry in my walking wellies - dry and toasty.  I might look for a pair for her for Christmas?

Sunday lunch was tasty but the service was not great.  I had taken a picture of Aimee and we set it on the table and raised our glasses to her.  Sad that she was not with us again.

Home by 6.30 and an easy evening with another episode of Chippendales which is quite entertaining and easy viewing.
