Ladies of Jazz

Wow, what a night.  We’ve just come home from an amazing night of Jazz at “The Ellington Jazz Club” Perth.  It was a celebration of women in the Perth Jazz world and they were amazing.  That’s Jessie Gordon on the vocals and Gwyneth Gardiner on the Double Bass.  I’ve added an extra of the entire crew on stage at the end of their first set.  A standout for me was Hanna Kim. Hanna was the pianist and honestly, I’ve never seen anyone play the piano like Hannah.  It was such an uplifting and joyful night and we came away knowing that it certainly won’t be the last time we head over to The Ellington.
