On the Mortimer Trail

Today we did a ten mile (16km) circular walk from Aymestry in north Herefordshire following part of the 39 mile Mortimer Trail through Shobdon Wood and returning via Sned Wood and the river Lugg. In the wake of Storm Darragh there were huge numbers of fallen trees to clamber over, under or around making it quite slow going. My blip is from Shobdon Wood looking north east towards the Shropshire hills with Titterstone Clee Hill standing prominently on the horizon. The foreground shows the trail of debris we had to contend with.
