Bauble Selfie

Firstly, thanks for all your get well messages yesterday. I’m absolutely fine today.

A and I walked on Kelling Heath this morning and had our morning coffee in the wooden arbour at the holiday village.

We were sitting in front of the Christmas Tree and so took a selfie of us both in one of the giant baubles. It was taken with my phone. I couldn’t carry my camera today as I was ‘gathering’ foliage as explained below.

This tree was cut down by those who maintain the Heath, along with many others to avoid the trees taking over the Heath habitat and to keep the diversity of the local wildlife.

While I was out I took along my secateurs to gather some foliage for a seasonal table decoration. This is for this year’s craft challenge set by one of our friends in Milton Keynes and has been described in a recent blip by Bom. Basically, 5 of us complete a craft challenge to win a small prize. The winner sets the challenge for the following Christmas. I will post a blip of the finished arrangement next week.
