Bird Gardens Scotland

Some of the lovelies we met at Bird Gardens Scotland this afternoon on our way home from our weekend break in Filey. I’ve wanted to visit the bird gardens in the Borders, for a long time but it’s just that wee bit too far for a day out from home. Today provided the perfect opportunity. There are hundreds of birds, mainly out of cages with the run of the place and as there were not many visitors today, we were the big attraction. It’s great fun to have a flock of geese and ducks chase you along the path! We left Filey in the sunshine at 9am and got home just after 5pm in the rain. 
My second extra was the view from the front door of our cottage at 07.23 this morning, I will miss that gorgeous beach, the sea and the sky.
