It’s complicated!
I don’t know where today has gone. I had a phone consultation with GP re the zigzag eye disturbances but he thinks it’s nothing worry about - ocular migraine. I’ve to make sure I wear sunglasses in bright sun, keep hydrated and take a snack when out walking. Meanwhile Mr C got his replacement hearing aids at the Freeman and then sorted out stuff with Trailfinders. It’s been a hassle as the rep was trying to persuade us to pay £500 each for a 2 day boat trip! He obviously deals with people who have a different class of holiday!
A while ago someone in the knitting group offered the cotton and pattern to knit a double bedspread as she didn’t want it. She had no takers so I suggested we all do a few squares, which are made of 4 triangles joined up. That’s come back to bite me - I spent time trying to get to grips with it. There are 91 rows starting with 1 stitch, working up to 45 then decreasing again. There’s complex patterns within that.
We gave Linda and Colin a lift to Ailie’s where we had a delicious dinner. I managed to slide my bit of pate onto Mr C’s plate. Luckily the main was fish pie. We had a convivial evening with Phil, Carol and Chris also present.
#3 daughter took the children out to a nearby restaurant to eat last night and they insisted their security guard would walk them back to their hotel. Today they got a bus to the aquarium which was Ella’s holiday choose.
