Good News!

We won a hamper!

A neighbour has been raising funds for the church and has been tirelessly knocking doors selling raffle tickets.

We bought two books to help her out and didn't expect to win anything....

But there was a knock at the door this morning and surprise surprise!

It was a lovely way to start the day,  but me being me I would have preferred the first prize of a slap up meal at the Swan..


Ah well, beggars can't be choosers and we are happy to be beggars with a lovely selection of fizz and biscuits!

Another grey cold day so no photography and  we have settled down for the evening in front of the fire and plan to drink tea.
