An evening of Carols
(17/12/24)
I had a lazy start to the morning but was productive in doing over an hour of ironing and editing last night's pictures before we got dressed and headed out. It is the evening of Carols on the Holy Trinity Compound, a varied evening that I admit I have been looking forward to more than the Winter Party!
It was an earlier than normal start at 5:30 PM. We stayed until 9:15. I discovered later that the evening finished at 10:15. Oh well. We were there for the most part. I took loads of photographs, so it was hard to pick one. There is a lot of talent in this city. Tonight we heard Carols/Christmas songs in Arabic, English, Gaelic, Amharic, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Tagalog, Tigrinya, and Ge'ez. It's always such a colourfully diverse event.
We popped into Wafi for a quick meal before getting home. Phew.
