Tairua

We drove for about 3.5 hours to the Coromandel peninsula and ended up here in Tairua, which has a beautiful bay and is very peaceful. We walked from the motel into town and back and it was a great walk, but the wind has picked up significantly so chilly at times, even in the sunshine.
After a couple of beers in town and a glass of wine with dinner, we both felt tired so went to bed early (for us) but will explore more of the area tomorrow
