Ray of Sunshine
And there were a few for a little while today :-)
Narcissus romieuxii, raised from my own seed sown back in 2017. The seed comes from plants, now lost, that I also raised form seed way back in 1993. Only a few inches tall, hardy but too delicate to be grown outside where the wind would batter them if the slugs didn't destroy them first, so these live in the unheated greenhouse. Lots more buds coming so there'll be flowers for weeks.
A quiet day at home mostly. More cleaning and sorting means I have more space in the living room and I also got another load of laundry done. Meg had a walk. The car is fixed - Hooray! The mobile electrics specialist sorted out the problem. Tra Mor Singers met for a Christmas Party this evening which was a blast. Nice nibbles, a very alcoholic trifle .... and we may have sung our party piece, 'I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas' for the last time!
