CAT IN A BOX

Went down to the village this afternoon to collect my prescription and some parcels as well as doing some food shopping.  There were only 2 parcels but they were both large boxes.  They wouldn't fit in my trolley and I couldn't carry them.  So the kind young lad behind the counter helped me to open the boxes ( which wasn't easy as they were well sellotaped ) and we took the eight individual items out I was able to fit them in the trolley - just about.  

When I got back home I sorted out a load of washing and then had a nice cup of coffee and a choc bar and relaxed for a bit.  Then I got on writing some more Christmas cards.  Then I decided to wrap some presents.  However Lily had chosen to settle in the box containing wrapping paper and gift bags.  She has plenty of beds she could have chosen but I think the hessian Christmas sack which was on the top of this box attracted her. I didn't want to disturb her and  I hoped she was just having a short nap but she slept there for hours.. I managed to find some bits of wrapping paper in another box and get a few presents wrapped.  More to do in the coming days.  Once Lily got off the box I put it somewhere she can't find it.
