Drunk On The Moon . . . Tom Waits
This was taken at 5.54 am. I hope you are impressed. There is a moon high in the image. This morning the forester went fishing and before he goes he always says goodbye and reminds me where he is launching from. I usually stay asleep but this morning I didn't so I got up to see what the sky looked like. I stood on the deck in my nightie and marvelled at seeing the moon high in the sky. The steam from Nelson Pine Industries was going straight up so no wind. I didn't stay up.
Fishing wasn't that successful but there is Gurnard for dinner and Kahawai to smoke. When it was time to come home the motor wouldn't start and it was the battery. Fortunately he can take the cover of the outboard and with a piece of cord pull start the motor. He is off buying a new battery and a new piece of cord. The ups and downs of a retired fisherman.
