Painter Man . . . The Creation

Well this is a painter woman, Janine Williams who with her husband Charles have designed and painted this mural.  A commision from the Nelson City Council.  It is transforming a blank wall at Millars Acre Carpark.  I use this carpark when I go to the movies so I will admire it every time. The blue and yellow patterns are Tukutuku patterns which do tell a story but I dont know the meaning of these.  The bird is a Pied Shag.
We were in Nelson for an appointment and I asked to go here for the blip.  On the way home drove via Rocks Road and the tide was in.  Teenagers were swimming right beside the road.  The Pohutukawa are in full bloom. There were excellent blip opportunities but it is one photo a day and it had to be art for me. .
