Third Day

The third day of the Inca Trail is the longest at 16km, has the two lower mountain passes and is very beautiful. There are a few Inca remains to see as well, and lots of cloud forest pathways as well as paths stuck to the side of huge mountains. It was gorgeous sunny weather, and we all got a bit pink! Lunch was at the top of the lowest pass (at something like 3,700m) and was very beautiful. We even got a cake to celebrate Independence Day!
