Stubborn
Our wonderful neighbour, Yvonne, agreed to help transport Addie to Orange today.
After a brief and unsuccessful stint on the track she is being given one last chance to become a racehorse. Road closures, medical (human) issues and the like have been responsible for the delay in getting her there.
After so long she was a bit reluctant to go on the float but Yvonne proved herself an excellent horse whisperer and eventually coaxed her on.
No sooner had she and Mr isbi left than I received a phone call from Wally to say he could come home from hospital but had no transport. Considering he’s been there for 5 months, apart from from a couple of weeks in the middle, how could I refuse. So that took up the rest of my day.
We had to go to the pharmacy and supermarket and then I did battle getting him an appointment with the GP for new scripts before his medications run out. A couple of weeks ago we feared it might be the end of the road for him so it’s wonderful to see the improvement, and we have our fingers crossed.
