Wound up in Wexford

Celtic tenors

The chap who sorted out our house alarm a month or so ago also sets up mesh networks.  I think, in theory, that I could have done this myself, but we asked him for his advice on the best brand to buy, and decided to go with the peace of mind that him setting it all up gave us.  He was supposed to come yesterday afternoon, but messaged to say he'd had to take his mum to hospital.  He was clearly playing catchup today, and came like a whirlwind, but didn't quite finish.

In the evening, we'd booked to see the Celtic Tenors.  The weather was dire - persistent fine rain, being blown almost horizontal by a piercing wind.  The tenors had too many Christmas songs for my liking (I've had more than enough of those this year!) - the show was advertised as part of their "Coming Home" tour, not as a Christmas concert - somewhat annoying.  If I'd realised when I was booking the concert how busy and stressed I was going to be, I might have thought twice, but it was good to get out.  It was nice to sit back and relax rather than be doing the performing.
