Noustigarth Harbour

A horrid morning of gales and rain, it kind of brightened in the afternoon, still gales tonight with heavy showers.  Mild temperatures all day. 

Working on the mini essykert with Cliffy again today.  Black bag waste from Bressay this morning.  In the afternoon we did small lane roads from Cunningsburgh to Virkie, collecting paper recycling waste.  Mam picked up parts for my car today, then got my car down to Cunningsburgh, uncle Leonard is going to do the work, he's a fine soul.  Working in the shop this evening, a fairly quiet night.  Feet up before bed. 

A choppy crossing on the ferry this morning, and returning back to Lerwick.  It really wasn't the best day to be working mostly outside, but waterproofs on and wrapped up well, including my Santie hat.  By the time our morning break arrived, the worst of the rain had passed over.  A dull morning with grey clouds seen here at 0936hrs.  Taken from the Manse, with Noustigarth on right and Mail in the background, Bressay.
