Painting at the lake
is my most favourite spot.
Nothing is better!

I left the house just after 9 to make my way to Mittry Lake. Our plein air group agreed to meet lakeside at 10. We were a lovely group of 9 painting on such a beautiful day! 

The lake and sky were intensely blue. American coots and one grebe were on the water and lots of other visitors were about enjoying the day. 

Before departing for lunch, several of us agreed we'd like to meet up more frequently. We hatched a plan and will share the desired information on our association's Facebook group. We would like to encourage other members to come out to paint or just come to visit. 

I'm in for the rest of the day. My cranky feet don't want to do anything this afternoon.
