Goodnight from Okarito

Decided to stay a second night just because I could - that and the weather was beautiful this morning......absolutely stunning.  Took a morning walk and an evening walk with the evening walk offering probably the most colourful sunset of the time I've been away.  A nice gentle 30 second exposure to add some softness to an otherwise rugged beach.  In case you haven't noticed, I've really enjoyed Okarito and I'm pretty sure another visit or two will be on the cards.  

The weather forecast is suggesting some rain over the next few days - not like we had earlier....more just showers.....nevertheless, I see it as a sign I should head home.  Don't think I'll be hanging about much if the forecast is right - will see what happens.

And just because I couldn't not do it, Heronius visited whilst I was at the board walk this evening so just had to be an extra.   He didn't seem at all worried about my presence and when he did eventually fly off, he was so close I couldn't get him all into the frame!!
