HO! HO! HO!

Bro and Niece both came late afternoon, just as I got back from a mega supermarket shopping expedition. We had a cuppa and then went to the Gardeners for dinner where Wednesday is Burger night! - £5 meal, both meat and veggie burgers, and chips! - Bargain!!

Thus satiated, Gareth drove us to Melbourne to see what we call the "ho! ho! ho! house".  The entire house smothered in lights - the owner Paul does this every year to raise money by donation to the Essex Air Ambulance. Talking to him, (he always comes out to chat when he sees folk have come to look) he told us he's been doing this for 19 years now, and this year started putting them up at the end of October  There seem to be even more lights than last year - Paul reckoned more than 90,000.  See extra pic for side view, and 2023 here and 2022 here.
