Sand Ship Ahoy!
Today's image was taken an another lone local photographic safari. I'd only nipped out for a quick breath of fresh air for a walk through the nearby Royal British Legion Village and past our local cafe, Base Camp.
This area has always been a fairly rich source of images for my blip journal and today proved to be no exception. For some reason there always seems to be the odd discarded item - a toy, a hat, a glove (always only one) or clothing - in and around the cafe's playground and today this little boat overloaded with silica, seemingly abandoned next to the adjacent sand pit, felt like it was giving off a slightly melancholy vibe at being deprived of its usual waterborne status - or at least that's what I read into it!
