Misty morning
The photo is taken 75 minutes before the sunrise, at 8:15.
Shortly after this photo was taken we were eating breakfast when a truck suddenly appeared just outside our house.
The truck that squeezed its way into our garden to deliver the new windows (28 November blip) had squeezed its way in again to pick up the old windows and the remains of the old window surrounds. I was even more impressed they got in today because now there is a fair bit of snow around. They had to dig away part of one pile to get in, but they took that in their stride!
It was a relief to see all that debris disappear from our garden in front of the house, but there was still a little debris left...
We sawed down some potential Christmas trees and tomorrow we'll deliver one to an old friend and help her set it up. We're helping her because she broke her arm a short while ago, and setting up a tree one-handed proved a bit too much of a challenge. We put the roof rack on the car so we could transport the tree.
With the old windows gone we still had the old gutters from our second project. Seizing the moment we loaded up the roof rack with the gutters, and drove to the recycling centre where we left our scrap to become new steel.
