Went up to the opticians this morning for a sight test following the cataract operation. As I thought my distance vision doesn’t need any correction but my near vision has worsened. Decided to go with just reading glasses and ordered some with a non reflective coating. It was a long appointment- they are very thorough- but as I left there was a bus waiting so I popped into town to buy some ready readers to tide me over until the others are ready and to dot around the house afterwards. Got them from Poundland!
Had lunch when I got home and had intended to decorate the house but read a novel instead and had a nap as I felt tired and a bit under the weather.
