Damp

again!
Managed to drop the car off to get its brakes seen to as I've heard scraping noises recently; then walked over to the Hotel, met up with a few of the ladies and we enjoyed an hour in the pool by ourselves! Not sure that has ever happened before but it was fabulous.  Coffee and chat followed. Then I had to wait for the car so had another coffee and read a newspaper in the warmth of the hotel.
Eventually got the call to go and fetch the car - it was raining so I got a bit damp - and had a big gulp on picking her up big bills aren't needed at any time of the year, but worse at this time when we have other commitments.
Still raining so this is a quick blip of the flowers outside the back door trying hard to thrive in the damp.
Slept poorly as the battery on the fire detector was bleeping - so irritating ; have now managed to remove it, with difficulty!  Will need to get it replaced at some time soon.
A lovely evening at the camera club yesterday - great quiz and a lovely spread of items brought in by members.
