River Cocker in Cockermouth.

If I had turned 180 degrees, you would have seen the river Cocker joining the river Derwent, at the confluence of the two rivers. 

It was really wet this morning, but it turned out to be dry in the afternoon...

A few years ago, Jennings Brewery ( owned by Marstons ) was taken over by Carlsberg. Two years later they closed it down! It had been brewing for two hundred years. It's so annoying when big companies buy up small ones, then promptly shut them down.

The Brewery is still empty and without a buyer...
