Walking home for Christmas

What a treat to have our oldest grandchild finish his first secondary school term at lunchtime today and walk home to us as his school was the first to start their holidays. I asked him if he exchanged any Christmas cards and he said “ Oh no that’s just a Primary School thing!” I think the long term decline in popularity of greetings cards is now an inevitability! I continue on soft foods as my throat continues to recover.
