Tiny Tree
I came through the day unscathed, no mishaps through bad luck or otherwise.
Early coffee at Richard’s as his garage workshop was erected, surprisingly quickly, we made a swift modification to allow the power cable to come inside without drilling holes in the walls.
I didn’t stay to the finish of construction, I’ll be back Monday to play my part.
The now usual shopping trip on the way home, less time in the supermarket and more time in the local produce shops. The use of these local shops shows in the reduction in both waste and cost.
Today’s main task was to get the traditional “Falmouth Stevens” calendars wrapped and into the A4 “Do Not Bend” envelopes along with the cards ready for posting. The already purchased gifts are now wrapped and ready there are just the four or so ordered online still to arrive to sort out.
A couple of hours card writing and I’m all but done, there’ll be others to write but I’m trying to avoid the near £90 postage bill of last year without missing anyone out.
Mrs S on nights again and continuing to work hard, over worked, due to staff shortages. Breakfast out tomorrow may bring her a little cheer before a weekend off.
Today’s photo shows the ‘Tiny Tree’, two years ago I bought it in a supermarket foyer, it was around six inches high, after Christmas it went outside and survived.
It looks just grand
