At Vito's

A quiet day. I finally got round to planting some bulbs - tulips and alliums - that have been sitting around for a while; I hope I haven't left it too late.
In the evening Richard and Nik and I went out to eat at Vito's, our local Italian restaurant. It's a small family place, friendly and relaxed. Nik got talking to Vito's daughter, who's planning to visit New Zealand in the spring with her boyfriend. It was a nice moment - N sharing his enthusiasm for NZ, sharing practical tips and Instagram contact details too.
