Bird bath

The bird had a lovely bath in the sprinkler and birdbath. I had just put the hose on after a warm day.

I was a bit better this morning so wandered up to the shops and bought a few gifts. I wore a mask (the only one). It was hot and 99% of people were wearing shorts including me. Very casual. It wasn’t as busy as I expected except the car parks which I avoid at this time of year. We are close enough to walk so it’s quicker if you don’t need to buy much.

Thanks for your get well wishes. I’m not coughing as much today but I’ve strained my ribs so it hurts more while coughing. I think my hip is a bit better too.

I’m wrapping up the few gifts I have bought and put under the tree. Now I have a few free days to rest up.

Champ is still here. He is a nice little boy and well behaved. He likes to follow me around in and out of the house or sitting under the table.
