“Michael of a Million Trees”

On the shortest day light day of the year Michael came back to do some more garden work for us. He has worked on Cotswold estates all his life and reckons he has planted a million dry root trees and hedges. Today he advised us on where to dig additional beds and plant our latest garden trees. He managed this before the rain blew in. Later we went for a winter solstice walk. My first outing since my operation. I felt very good.
