and finally the rain came

Today was our last day on holiday, tomorrow we head all the way back to South Wales.

We have been so lucky with the weather this last 10 days. We came when the temperatures where very high but the weather was on the change with several thunder and lightening storms forecast. But even though we did have rain it always rained either at night or when we were in the car, with the exception of about 2 very short light showers. But despite all that the temperature was high.

For our last day we decided to go for a walk around St Abbs Head, what a lovely peaceful place to walk. After about 2 hours of walking the rain came, but again only lasted for about 10 mins. Then the sun came out as we reached Mire Loch, what a tranquil bit of water it was. I am running out of nice things to say about our holiday in the borders of Scotland. We continued our walk back to the visitors centre when finally the heavy rain came, as you can see by the image, we were soaked, but we didnt care. Again, all i can say is, if you are in the area and fancy a nice walk, go to St Abbs Head, you wont be disappointed.
