The 4th Sunday of Advent.
I can not adequately describe to you how wild and cold the gusty wind has been all day. At one point before 11am, there was suddenly an almighty very loud hail, that turned the swampy lawn and the front of our Close, pure hail white. It was a surprise, but marvellous transformation that disappearedas fast as it appeared. Hunter was amazed. Holly was not in the conservatory so the impact of the loud sound didn't seem to effect her much .We have had sun and blue sky since then, but the wind remains.
So apart from topping up the mealworms and putting bread on the bird feeding areas, I have stayed here and avoided the wild, cold weather. It is currently 4c but feels like minus 2. Very cold.
I enjoyed watching Songs of Praise and there are a good few TV shows scattered across the channels for today including The Snowman.. I lit our fourth Advent candle. Paul sent off the Christmas e cards. They are Jacqui Lawson musical Christmas cards. It saves on postage and doesn't add to the weight of the post bag. Our postmen are very cheerful and work hard in the good weather and cold weather.
Our Maria sent us the beautiful poinsettia Cross stitch Christmas card she made. I will frame it and display it.
Have a lovely Sunday and thank you for dropping by blip friends.
