Incoming

Before B and I went for our walk, I checked the weather app and rain radar to find a gap between the heavy rain showers. There was no way to avoid the strong and bitterly cold winds, though. So we decided on a slightly shorter route than usual.

That turned out to be a good idea. On our way back, we could see the landscape disappear behind this black storm cloud, which was coming our way. Minutes after we both were safely home, it arrived - with howling gales and horizontal rain, mixed with sleet.

I stayed warm for the rest of this Advent Sunday.
