What a difference a day makes!
We didn’t have a good night as a woman in a nearby room decided to have a shouting strop in an unknown language from 2.45 for over an hour. A door one away from us had a Do Not Disturb sign up this morning when we went out. There’s only one other British family in the hotel so for once it wasn’t our combined shame.
It was snowing on and off but I managed to get in a couple of runs before the visibility got too bad. Mr C came a cropper today - not hurt but just exhausted himself. He was out with #2 daughter on a steep blue while Phil had a coffee and read his book. James is not happy in his class. It’s boring. I must say they don’t seem as good as instructors in France where more interesting fun things helped the learning.
Daughter found another dad was taking the other boy in the class down the 6km blue route back to the town. It was a good lesson for them as there were some steep corners which were hard in a full snow plough. Hopefully James understands if he persists with the class it will make it easier in the end.
I’ve sorted out a visit to an outdoor thermal area on Boxing Day and daughter has booked a traditional Bulgarian Christmas Eve dinner.
Poor #3’s longed for visit to Robben Island has been cancelled due to high winds and is fully booked for the rest of their stay.
