Birch Bark Blemishes

Today's Blip was possibly going to be a Lost & Found, but only if I found what I had lost!
 
Yesterday I could not find my hat, and I searched everywhere at home and in the car. Today we retraced my footsteps back and forth through the park, but without success. So I snapped this rather nice Birch tree with its many lines and peeling bark.

Half an hour ago I found my hat on the corner of a radiator underneath a coat, but a photo of it would not have been worthy. However, I am very happy to have found it!
