Eve's Christmas Eve Eve

A beautiful calm day, mostly sunny all day, but cold.  By teatime, winds picked up, bringing rain.

Arrived at work, a busy couple of days ahead.  I've been working with Cliffy all day, on a spare essykert doing additional collections.  We did business plastic recycling waste first thing.  After break it was communal black bag waste from housing schemes around Lerwick.  Bits for the car arrived, uncle Leonard is on the case again.  A bit of last minute shopping after work.  Wrapped the last of the presents this evening, then mam and dad picked me up, took me down the road.  Back home, feet up before bed.

A lovely calm morning for Eve arriving home from Glasgow, although she said it certainly wasn't like that on the ferry last night.  Always good to get the family home for Christmas, hopefully get to see everyone.  Laura had a house full, aunt Joan and Uncle John in too, and a good catchup over a cuppa.  I dropped off my Christmas presents while down.  Mam, Eve, Megan and Laura, at home, Blett Road, Cunningsburgh.
