Third time's a charm

These still aren't the most beautiful Christmas cookies but these taste so much better. I bought fresh almond flour and that, of course, made all the difference. There is an orange/craisen variety and a cinnamon/almond variety. They also aren't too sweet so will be a nice change to the potluck table.
Tomorrow is an "old" tradition of a bunch of childless folks heading to the Buckhorn Bar for Christmas Eve. This year they are opening the back and letting us all bring food. It should be a fun evening. I've looked at pictures in years past when I was in Maine and so missed getting together with friends.
