Somewhere over ..
A day of 3 halves. We started off by all 5 of us going shopping for Christmas food. It turned into the great turkey hunt - and we failed. There were some, very small, local ones in BIG but nothing that would feed 10 and def not turduken material. Apparently it is due to the import restrictions due to avian flu in US., though Government is planning to increase local production.
Part 2 was Amelia's gymnastics exam which meant a lot of sitting around in a primary school (they are huge and very industrial feeling) before we got to go upstairs and see her perform her 1 minute routine. However, she came in the top 15 in her year so got 2 medals and a paint by numbers picture. She was very happy. It was all girls (of course), #1 son and I were the only Europeans and there were a handful on non Chinese Malaysians. Malaysia is so unintegrated. When we got home WH and the girls went off to their sleepover in Putrajaya.
Part 3 was me at home, eating a fab Aussie steak, watching the rainbow as the sun set over KL and watching QI Christmas and the start of Return to Paradise Aus. The VPN and the free trial subs to Spotify and Amazon Music have been a game changer!
