Holiday Preparations!

Evan and Bella were to have come to me today for cookie-making, celebrations, present-shopping (for their parents and their other grandmother, who arrives by plane on Christmas at about 5pm) and present-wrapping. 

Unfortunately Bella has come down with something that involves sore throat and fever, so she had to stay home, but Evan showed up, skipping for delight. I asked him what is his favorite part of the celebrations, and he quickly answered, "The stuff!" Appropriate for a nine-year-old, I'd say. He chose excellent gifts for his parents and of course he has made things for them out of cardboard and duct tape.
