The Monday Before Christmas

It’s cold but sunny again, and the roads are virtually clear on the way through Canterbury. I’m back to work today after a two-week break. Ordinarily, this would not fill me with joy, but as it’s Christmas week, I only have one full day at work before the big day. Tomorrow, I’m just in for the morning, and it’s one of those enjoyable supervising shifts, so it hardly counts as work. I have a late finish today, but luckily, it has stayed relatively quiet and uncomplicated. Our house is filling up now, with Ed & Tara joining us for Christmas and adding to the evening’s festive cheer. Not much time to go out hunting blips today, but I did grab this macro shot of a glittery feather decorating our tree.
