The magic ..

..of Christmas Eve.

Just in from church and our first ever Midnight in Bethlehem service. It started at 9.00 pm so that half way through the service it would be Midnight in Bethlehem and therefore Christmas day. We were home by 10.30 which is better than 1.00 am after a service at midnight here.
I have to admit that returning from a service on a sparkling early Christmas morning was always magical but here is an alternative bit of Christmas magic in the garden of one of our neighbours which we passed on our way up the village to church. I’ve featured Santa and the Snowman before as they have been around a few years but the reindeer and sleigh are new additions this year.
