Am I sure I want to finish work?

Why, yes! I actually wanted to show you the med sec in her inflatable reindeer suit (yes, really) but the would not load. Ah well...

I worked in the town surgery. Steve gave me a lift in, because I have 'laptop bag shoulder injury' and I caught the bus back. Something was grunting in the cemetery as I walked along the dark, dark path to home. 

We had soup (when Steve and his friend P pried me away from the client on the phone: there's always an emergency right before Christmas) and then went out to the most gorgeous concert in Stroud Laurence's church, by the Le Page ensemble. We were full of the joys  when we came back, and sat up eating cheese and drinking red wine, which is never a recipe for a good night's sleep, I discovered later. (Actually, I knew that already, but the reminder was timely).
