Red Truck, Red Truck, Sitting in the Muck Muck
After breakfast, we walked down to the river and right back up again: first time Eric has walked with elevation gain and loss; he did fine. This truck aways sits here with changing piles of trash in its bed. Seems like it could use an airing out.
We spent a lazy day with a fire, a walk, a hum drum poached trout for a late lunch, then across the street for some Christmas cheer with neighbors. Very enjoyable, especially their almost-9 year old son who is becoming so sociable and funny. We gave him a kit for making balloon animals that he very graciously opened, joked about, and promised balloon animals by next Christmas. My shopping this year has been very uninspired. I’ve been very uninspired, so Tricia’s fantastic eggnog and Yule log cake were just the ticket.
