Poinsettias

For years, Marbott’s Nursery grew robust poinsettias from seed, and sitting in this window, they’d last until late spring - or until I simply got tired of them. But Marbott’s closed, so these came from Freddie’s and have had a hard time. It’s partly because we had such a habit of keeping the house barely warm enough for comfort, but with the new furnace, and the plants on a bench right over a heating duct, they struggle.
