LUNCH IN SHIRLEY !

This was our Christmas day on Boxing day! A tradition that has gone on for many years.Such a lovely day where presents are exchanged with family not with us on Christmas day afternoon . The lunch was brilliant of various nibbles & drinks ( a great tomatoes soup was served in small glasses really yummy) , 2 bird roast, roast chicken & glazed ham with ALL the trimmings including Brussels sprouts with lardons in cream, &
Cheesy spiky mashed potatoes & festive stuffing. Dessert was Christmas pudding/ mince pies with cream & bailys cream. Cheese & biscuits were there but no room left & coffee. We then had a few rounds of charades then J took me home , K collected me for lunch.

I THANK ALL THE" D" FAMILY FOR ANOTHER WONDERFUL YEARS BOXING DAY LUNCH !

I TRUST EVERY ONE HAS HAD A SPECIAL DAY TOO.
